The short version

Fish That Fit runs entirely in your browser. The calculations happen on your device, and the values you enter are never transmitted to or stored on a server.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which features are used and to fix problems. This collects anonymous usage events (such as page views), never the contents of your inputs.

Cookies

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Any storage we use is limited to remembering your preferences locally on your device.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Standard server logs may record requests for security and reliability. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. On your first visit the site makes a single anonymous request to a third-party IP geolocation service (api.country.is) to decide whether to default to US units or metric. We don’t store the result beyond remembering your unit preference locally.
